With the day fast approaching we can now give an agenda for the Museum Grand Opening on 31st March 2018. The gates open at 0900 for military vehicles and the event itself starts at 1030hrs when the opening ceremony will take place. With 2018 marking the 100th Anniversary of the formation of the Royal Air Force, our local Air Training Corps Unit – 378 (Mannock) Sqn ATC will be presenting a plaque to mark the centenary which will be dedicated by our Padre, Rev. Jez Safford. Again, we make the point that parking is extremely limited and priority of course is for our military vehicle/re-enactor visitors who will be putting on a display. Its first come first served and we would ask that you please car share if you can and park considerately ‘tight and right’. Museum volunteers in hi viz will be there to direct you but your help will be appreciated!
