During our open days we are asked many questions – hopefully here we can answer a few of them for you.
“Is there a Sywell Airshow This Year”?…………………The short answer here is No, there is not. Since the tragic accident at Shoreham, the CAA have imposed stringent rules and regulations on Airshows and Airshow organisers. There are significant cost implications and many Airshows have been cancelled. The Sywell Airshow was one of them. That is not to say there aren’t other airshow events run by other people being put on here at Sywell – hopefully Flying Legends this year, for one, but we aren’t part of the organising.
“Can I Learn to Fly at Sywell”?……………………..Yes you can. There are a number of companies which offer flying lessons. For example Flylight who offer microlight lessons

There is also Sloane Helicopters who offer flight training.

“How much is it to fly in a Spitfire”?………………….It is £2750.00
