On the 23rd of July 2017  a young lady and her husband visited the museum.

Her  name is Captain Lauren Ott and is based at Mildenhall.

Before she married she was Lauren Zuckerman and her  grandfather Martin  Zuckerman was a Radio Operator in 42-31053 Stingy.

He flew quite a bit in this aircraft but has few records of his missions or why he missed that one.

She comes from New York and her family is in touch with members of the Jorgensen family who told her of our exhibit.

Museum member Romer Adams very kindly escorted them to the site of the memorial.

Another recent visitor was a veteran of many bombing missions as a turret ball gunner in a B-17.
